“Rest Day” was created during an experimental session testing acrylic markers for a YouTube video. The piece explores the tension between rest and presence — how simplicity, bold color, and playful form can express emotion without excess.

Each line was drawn freehand. The use of acrylic markers gives the surface a smooth yet tactile texture, revealing small variations that emphasize its handmade character.

Each painting is inspired from my life and surroundings in Barcelona. The people, colors, and rhythm of the city – as well as the warmth and stillness of everyday moments – shape my visual language. My work is inspired by real experiences and emotions I felt in specific moments, often translating them into simplified forms and bold, intuitive colors.

Every piece holds a trace of a place, a thought, or a feeling — fragments of life turned into visual memory.
