The Story
Friends by the Sea is part of my new painting series inspired by my move to Tarragona and the slower, softer life I started to find here.

This piece was very special to me because it was the first painting I created outside with my little travel easel. I painted it at my favorite place by the rocks, close to the sea, a place that has become connected to calm, inspiration, and feeling at home in this new chapter of my life.

While I was there, I saw two women sitting together, watching the sunset. Sharing a quiet moment by the water, and something about them stayed with me. I wanted to capture that feeling of simply being together, surrounded by the sea, the warm evening light, and the peaceful rhythm of the coast.

For me, this painting represents friendship, freedom, and the beauty of a slower life. A life where small moments feel meaningful. Where you can sit by the sea, watch the sun go down, and feel like everything is slowed down for a while.
