The Life I Found Here is a painting series about my move to Tarragona and the quiet transformation that followed.

Over the past six months, I found more calm, more connection, more softness, and a sense of coming back to myself. These paintings are inspired by the sea, new friendships, small rituals, warm evenings, and the feeling of finally being able to breathe again.

Together, they tell the story of a life becoming lighter, slower, and more my own.

And I can say that I'm really grateful that I made the decision to move to another city and to step back for a moment.

The Life I Found Here is a new painting series inspired by my move to Tarragona and the quiet transformation I experienced during my first six months here.

After leaving Barcelona, I slowly began to notice how much tension I had been carrying. In Tarragona, life started to feel different. Softer. Slower. Lighter. I found myself spending more time by the sea, returning again and again to my favorite place on the rocks, breathing in the fresh air, sitting in the sun, and finding a kind of inner calm I had not felt in a long time.

This series is about that new chapter.

It is about the people I met, the friendships that made this place feel warmer, and the small moments that started to feel meaningful again. It is about quiet evenings, swimming a lot in the sea, taking better care of my body, and learning to enjoy my own company. It is about health, self-care, connection, rest, and the feeling of slowly coming back to myself.

Each painting holds a piece of this life I found here: the sea, the rocks, the warmth, the stillness, the freedom, and the feeling when you stop rushing and start listening to yourself.

The Life I Found Here is not only about a new city. It is about creating a life that feels more healthy, more peaceful, and more my own.
